About Us

Our Story

Originally started in 1977 as a smaller farming operation, Dale Bone Farms grew into the largest cucumber shed on the east coast. In 2006, a group of experienced tobacco and sweet potato farmers recognized the need for a distribution facility. They purchased the operation and formed Nash Produce. The soil and climate in eastern North Carolina provide the perfect environment for growing the world’s best sweet potatoes and pickling cucumbers.

Today we are proud to be a leading supplier in the industry with a focus on innovation, quality produce, and unrivaled service. We consider ourselves front-runners in a constantly evolving fresh produce industry. Staying ahead of the latest food trends, technological advances, and food safety initiatives ensures Nash Produce delivers quality service for our clients.

Our prime location (1 mile off of Interstate-95), year-round product, committed family of employees, and deep-rooted relationships with our grower base gives us the capability to dependably serve retail, foodservice, and processors in the industry.
